Connect Microsoft Clarity

Optional. Clarity is your project on Microsoft’s site. Visitorly does not give you a shared Clarity login.

On Microsoft’s site

  1. Open clarity.microsoft.com and sign in.
  2. Add a project with the same website URL as in Visitorly → Sites.
  3. If Clarity asks you to install its own script, do that in your site header (in addition to Visitorly). Clarity recordings need Clarity’s script; Visitorly only reads a summary.
  4. Copy the Project ID from the Clarity project.
  5. Open Settings → Data Export → Generate API token and copy the token. Store it like a password.

In Visitorly

  1. Select the website → Integrations.
  2. Paste Project ID and API token, save, then sync.

Microsoft limits how often export can run (on the order of about ten times per project per day). If sync says rate-limited, wait and try later. Next: AI Insights.
