Common questions from customers setting up Visitorly.
Will my visitors show up in another customer’s dashboard?
No. Each site has a unique key and belongs to one account. Dashboards only load your sites.
Do I need Google Cloud or Clarity before using Visitorly?
No. The Visitorly Tracker alone is enough. Google and Clarity are optional upgrades you connect yourself.
I use WordPress. What do I download?
On Dashboard → Sites, click WordPress Plugin. Compress the .php file into a zip, then in WordPress go to Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin. Full steps: Install the tracker → WordPress.
What is Export Events (JSON)?
A download of that website’s first-party events for your records or a GDPR request. It is not an install file. How to export.
Why do I see “Add a site first” on Integrations?
Create a site under Sites, then return to Integrations to connect Google or Clarity.
Real-Time is empty — what should I check?
- Plugin, GTM tag, or HTML snippet installed with the correct host and data-key
- Domain matches the site in Visitorly (including www vs apex)
- GTM published, if you use Tag Manager
- Ad blockers / privacy extensions — try a private window, or set a first-party CNAME
- You are viewing the correct site in the dashboard
How do I invite a client without sharing my password?
Dashboard → Team. Send their email as View Only (or analyst/admin). If they already have a Visitorly account, accepting the invite adds this website to that profile. If not, they can create one with the same email. Guide: Team and alerts.
How do refunds work?
See the Refund Policy. Pay with Whop and/or Stripe when checkout is enabled, or settle offline. Profile shows join date, period end, auto-renewal, and card brand plus last four digits only.
After I pay online, does an admin still have to approve my plan?
No. A successful Whop or Stripe payment unlocks the dashboard immediately. Admin approval is only for offline or custom requests.
How do promo codes work?
Enter the code on checkout, or open a checkout link that already includes it. Admin-created codes live on Whop and apply on Whop checkout in real time. Stripe Checkout can accept Stripe promotion codes when those are set in Stripe.
