API keys and webhooks

Skip this entire page unless a developer or an automation tool needs your numbers. Everyday analytics do not require an API key.

Create a key

  1. Open API & Webhooks (your plan must be Active).
  2. Select the website if the key should be limited to one site.
  3. Name the key (for example “Zapier”), click Create Key, and copy the secret immediately — Visitorly will not show it again.

Send requests with Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY or X-API-Key.

  • Events: GET /api/v1/events?siteId=…&days=7
  • Metrics: GET /api/v1/metrics?siteId=…&days=14 (includes sheet-friendly rows)

Revoke a key on the same page if it leaks. Do not put keys in public websites or screenshots.

Webhooks

Paste an HTTPS URL (Zapier/Make “catch hook”). Visitorly can POST metrics.daily and events.export with a signing secret shown once. Disable or delete the webhook if you stop using it.

For a human-readable file instead, use Reports or Sites → Export Events (JSON).
